This organic virgin and unadulterated coconut oil is free from bleaching agents, has not been deodorised or fractionated & therefore retains all its natural aroma & goodness.

At room temperature, Virgin Coconut Oil is a semi solid butter but melts quickly on the skin. If you leave it in a sunny or warm spot, it will melt into a clear oil.

This virgin coconut oil is an excellent hair conditioner as it softens the hair and conditions the scalp. Using coconut oil as a pre-wash conditioner can remove dandruff and cradle cap after only one application.

The best way to apply coconut oil is to spoon a little from the jar (if it is solid), let it melt in your hands or in a cup, gently massage the oil into the scalp and hair, and leave in for about 15-20 minutes before washing the hair with a natural shampoo.

As a skin moisturiser coconut oil absorbs readily into the skin & keeps it soft, but not greasy. It helps to reduce chronic skin inflammation and is soothing and healing to wounds, blood blisters & rashes. Coconut oil also aids in the removal of the outer layer of dead skin cells, making the skin smoother. The oil penetrates into the deeper layers of the skin and strengthen the underlying tissues. Virgin coconut oil is highly recommended for flaky skin conditions such as psoriasis, rashes or blemish prone skin.
