Our pure virgin (unprocessed) coconut oil is an excellent conditioner for baby scalp & hair and a great moisturiser for flaky, newborn baby skin. It is organic, snow white and has a distinct smell of coconuts
Our organic virgin cold-pressed coconut oil is free from bleaching agents, has not been deodorised or fractionated & therefore retains all its natural aroma & goodness.
Virgin coconut oil is an excellent hair conditioner as it softens the hair and conditions the scalp. Using coconut oil as a pre-wash conditioner can remove your baby's cradle cap in only one application, although if the cradle cap is persistent you may need to apply a few times.
As a skin moisturiser, virgin coconut oil absorbs readily into the skin & keeps it soft, but not greasy. It helps to reduce chronic skin inflammation and is soothing and healing to wounds, blood blisters & rashes.
Virgin Coconut oil also aids in the removal of the outer layer of dead skin cells, making the skin smoother. The oil penetrates into the deeper layers of the skin and strengthen the underlying tissues. It is highly recommended for flaky skin conditions such as psoriasis, rashes or blemish prone skin.
Because our virgin coconut oil is perfectly pure and extremely healing - you can use it as a general all-over baby moisturiser too.
At room temperature, Virgin Coconut Oil is a semi solid butter but melts quickly on the skin. If you leave it in a sunny or warm spot, it will melt into a clear oil. Please also take care when opening the jar during warmer weather as it is very likely the oil will have become liquid.
The best way to apply coconut oil is to spoon a little from the jar (if it is solid), let it melt in your hands or in a cup, gently massage the oil into the scalp and hair, and leave in for about 15-20 minutes before washing the hair with shampoo. If using as a body moisturiser, simply massage in.

Customer Feedback:
The Coconut Oil has been excellent on my daughter's head & she obviously prefers the consistency to olive oil or the shea butter. She would scream the house down with the other 2 oils and not make a peep while I was applying the coconut oil. I have also been using the coconut oil on my hands. I too love the silky texture and feel really good about the fact it is food grade since I'm handling her so much, breastfeeding etc....Julie, South Yorkshire
